May 2019 – November 2019
For the 2019 farmers market season, I worked for the WilCo Events Board, which manages 3 farmers markets in middle Tennessee: Nolensville, Brentwood, and Berry Farms.
While each market had it’s own needs, At the markets, I was responsible for social media promotion, event planning, and daily market operations. This included tasks such as creating vendor announcements for social media, managing our email list, curating our social media posts, planning special events (Food Truck Festival Strawberry Fest, Back To School Bash, Grill Fest), tracking vendor sales, and managing the market during hours of operation.
Part of my role included managing its social media platforms. Over the season, I increased followers by 8%, improved interaction rates from 0.25% to 1.2%, and developed a voice for the market account and images.
